Role description |
This role is a mix of ‘thinking’ and ‘doing’ involving conceptual/critical thinking tasks of strategy formulation and problem-solving, and providing the necessary sales enablement to the sales teams alongside. |
Understand the needs of sales teams in regions and come-up with required enablement solutions to help them |
Set-up the reporting/cadence structures with sales leadership and sales teams |
Work on the vertical specific Go-to-market strategies with the sales leaders |
Drive the account planning and deal-workshop agendas for large deals, working along with the account teams and sales leaders |
Work on/contribute to the functional strategy and road-map by doing internal research |
Strategize & plan for the right marketing mix for different businesses |
Operational aspects [70% of time]: |
1. Prepare the power-point presentation collaterals – capability decks, point-of-view documents, proposals, etc. |
2. Analyse the SalesForce/CRM reports to identify important trends, status reports, etc. to help sales leadership take right decisions |
3. Prepare management reports for the leadership reviews (excel and powerpoint pages) |
4. Anchor and attend the conference calls with sales teams to launch new initiatives, educate, and problem-solve on various sales effectiveness tools and methodologies |
5. Project manage the new initiatives within sales enablement function as per requirement |
6. Assist in the development of marketing content in the form of Whitepapers, Research Reports, Social Media Creatives, Emails etc. |
Desired Candidate Profile |
Candidates should have 6-8 years of total professional experience, with at least 3 years post MBA with a consulting/business research profile. Experience in sales enablement, proposals management, sales operations, etc. is an added advantage (though not a constraint) |
Qualification |
Engineering degree with MBA/PGPM from a tier 1/2 institute in India. High academics are desirable. |
