| Roles and Responsibilities |
| Responsible for Supplier audit. |
| Responsible for leading teams to interface with Suppliers and Purchasing to ensure early collaboration on design for Manufacturability, Assembly and Cost. |
| The Position leads Cost Modeling activities that support the setting of Target Costs and managing product cost to achieve target while optimizing value. |
| Leads a cross functional team to a solution that meets multiple objectives and balance performance, quality, velocity, and cost. Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to influence others when there is conflict in processes, objectives, or solutions. |
| Interface with component teams to prioritize supplier development needs by component to improve cost competitiveness or supply constraints. |
| Research external market information and entrepreneurial companies to identify potential sources and suppliers. |
| Develop positive relationships and work closely with sourcing leaders to manage, implement and track supplier/engineering, design changes, capacity studies and New Product Introductions, and transfers. |
